Engineering Discipline That Starts With Process, Not Products
Terragron's approach begins with how a plant is designed, built, commissioned and maintained not with a catalogue of equipment. Twenty-five years of hands-on process engineering shape every decision, long before the first pipe is laid.
- Single-point accountability, from design through commissioning
- Specifications grounded in field data, not textbook assumptions
- Built for residential, commercial, industrial & municipal scale
From Humble Beginnings to an Established Engineering Space
From its humble beginnings in 2016, Terragron has grown from various forms and hands into the established entity of Terragron Engineers Private Limited today. Quality, integrity and sustainability have stayed the cornerstones of that identity throughout refined project after project, as the team's expertise and client base have grown alongside it.
Humble Beginnings
What would become Terragron Engineers takes shape built on hands-on, first-principles process engineering rather than a drawing-board consultancy model.
Karnataka's First STP-to-Biogas Project
Recognised at the Dun & Bradstreet Infrastructure Awards for a landmark biogas power-generation project at municipal scale.
A Three-Year Quality Excellence Run
Recognised for technical execution and maintenance quality, sustained across a flagship municipal STP cluster.
Beyond Residential Into Every Sector
The practice expands from boutique apartment plants to municipal-scale clusters, taking on commercial, industrial and institutional projects alongside residential high-rises.
Terragron Engineers Private Limited
The practice is formally incorporated as Terragron Engineers Private Limited, consolidating years of hands-on delivery into a single established entity.
Industry Outlook Recognition
Named among the recommended providers for Best Water and Wastewater Solutions.
500+ Solutions, One Standard
ISO 9001:2015 certified, with a growing footprint across Bangalore & Karnataka's residential, commercial, industrial and municipal sectors.

Field-Tested Accountability
Design, execution and on-site ownership sit with the same team, start to finish not spread across vendors who never set foot on the plant floor.
Why this company exists
Most treatment plants fail quietly not from bad design, but from being handed to whoever answered the vendor tender fastest. Terragron exists as a different model: the people who calculate the hydraulics are the same people who commission the blowers, and the same people who answer the phone when something's wrong three years later. That accountability doesn't change whether the client is a forty-flat apartment or a ninety-MLD township.

"Whether it's a residential tower or an industrial campus, the physics of treating water doesn't change only the scale does. What changes is how much the client can trust the team behind it."— John Lazarus Armstrong, Founder & Executive Director, Terragron
Led from the field, not just the boardroom

John Lazarus Armstrong
25+ Years in Water & Power EngineeringA luminary in the water and power industry, John has dedicated over 25 years to advancing environmental engineering, backed by his electrical engineering background. As a seasoned veteran, he has worn many hats from pioneering technician to dynamic leader sharpening his expertise across erection, commissioning and operational maintenance along the way. Under his stewardship, Terragron's technical team has built robust, all-encompassing wastewater management systems that integrate cutting-edge technology with eco-conscious practice.
“Most vendors can design a plant, or build one, or navigate BWSSB paperwork. Very few can do all three.”

Dorthy Elezabeth
20+ Years in HR & Compliance LeadershipWith over 20 years of experience, Dorthy has built a reputation for forward-thinking HR strategy that aligns with organisational goals while maintaining rigorous compliance with legal standards. Her expertise in HR and compliance management has made her a trusted leader focused on cultivating a positive work environment and sustainable growth. She is currently focused on developing tools that simplify HR processes and strengthen regulatory compliance across the organisation.
“Sustainable engineering needs a sustainable team behind it that's the part people don't see.”
Process Design & Engineering
Mass-balance calculations, technology selection and space-optimised layouts for every new plant.
